IMPORTANT INFORMATION / APPLICATION GUIDELINES

All qualifications should only be from well reputed universities / institutions as recognized by the HEC / PEC where applicable
The applications with academic qualifications/degrees and experience in the relevant field will be considered only
Only one second division in entire academic career is allowed
First class / division means a minimum of 60% marks for annual system of examination or minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 for semester system and second class / division means a minimum of 50% marks for annual system or minimum CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0 for semester system
No third division in the entire academic career is allowed
The age will be calculated on the closing date of applications
The appointment on the project-based positions will be offered on contract (temporary) basis initially for a period of one year (extendable) maximum up till the execution period (life of the project) only. The candidates appointed on these positions cannot claim for extension in the contract or to be regularized
All the positions are Islamabad based only. Interviews for all the positions will be conducted at IST, Islamabad campus only.
The practical test may be conducted for any position if required by the Interview / Selection Board. In such a case, the practical test for the position will be conducted at IST, Islamabad campus only.
Employees of Govt/Semi Govt Organizations should apply “Through Proper Channel “. Advance copies are not acceptable / will not be considered
Only short listed candidates would be called for interview / practical test (if required by the Interview / Selection Board)
Compliance to eligibility criteria for any position does not guarantee short listing for interview / practical test (if required by the Interview / Selection Board)
If a large number of applications are received for any position then only the best suitable candidates would be called for interview / practical test (if required by the Interview / Selection Board)
Computer practical test for any position may be conducted if required by the Interview / Selection Board
Applications submitted without attached attested photocopies of complete academic & experience documents and those received after the closing date would not be processed further / considered. Only hard copies will be accepted
Ex-armed forces personnel should also submit attested photocopies of their armed forces discharge certificate / release / retirement order
Only those applications will be entertained / considered for short listing for interview / practical test (if required by the Interview / Selection Board) which have been received at the address mentioned below on or before the closing date of application. Applications received after the closing date of application / late applications would not be processed further / considered
Please mark the position applied for on the right hand side of the envelope
TA / DA will not be admissible for appearing in the interview / practical test (if required by the Interview / Selection Board)
IST reserves the right to reject any or all of the applications received for any position without assigning any reason thereof
IST reserves the right to postpone or cancel the recruitment / induction on the positions at any stage without assigning any reason thereof
The decision of the Institute in all matters regarding recruitment on the positions would be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained
Completely filled and duly signed Application Form along with detail updated CV, attested photocopies of the degrees, final transcripts, certificates, final marks sheets from matric onwards, experience certificates, CNIC, recent passport size photograph and all other particular documents required to support the candidate’s eligibility for the position should reach the office of DD (HRM) IST on the address given below:
