Ministry of Science & Technology invites job applications from Pakistani Nationals for the following Contract appointments under the PSDP Project titled “Establishment of Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (P,M&E) Cell in Ministry of Science & Technology” initially for a period of One (01) Year, extendable after evaluation of the performance:

Name of Post	Required Qualification and Experience
Assistant Chief (Appraisal)	16 years of education in Project Management / Engineering/ Applied Sciences/ Business Administration/ Economics, Political Science/International Relations from HEC recognized university / institute with 07 years relevant experience in development, planning, appraisal etc. preferably in Public Sector. Acquaintance with government rules, regulations and procedures would be an added advantage.
Assistant Chief (M&E)	16 years of education in Project Management / Engineering/ Applied Sciences / Business Administration / Economics, Political Science/International Relations from HEC recognized university / institute with 07 years relevant experience in development, planning, appraisal etc. preferably in Public Sector. Acquaintance with government rules, regulations and procedures would be an added advantage.
Research Officer	16 years of education in Project Management / Engineering / Information Technology / Applied Sciences / Economics / Political Science / International Relations from HEC recognized institute / university. Having technical expertise in coordination with stakeholders to collect and process the data for preparation of details pertaining to Annual Development Plan and Year Book Material, Project Briefs/ Summaries for Secretary, Minister and other relevant fora i.e. DDWP, CDWP, ECNEC etc. Experience of record keeping, file management and working on such tasks in any Govt. organization’s P&D setup would be a plus.
Data Processing Officer	16 years of education in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Economics from HEC recognized university / institute with relevant experience. Acquaintance with government rules, regulations and procedures would be an added advantage
Naib Qasid	Middle standard examination with good moral character

Terms & Conditions:

Candidates who had applied against earlier advertisement made in national press on 31^st October, 2021 need to apply afresh.

Degrees / Certificates must have been obtained from HEC recognized institutions.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/ interview; for which the criteria adopted by the competent authority cannot be challenged.
No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
Those already in Government Service shall apply through proper channel and will have to produce departmental NOC at the time of interview.
Government employee, if selected on a project post, will have to resign from Government Service before appointment against project post.
