Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) invites job application in following department for different vacant posts:-

JOB DETAILS:

PUNJAB POLICE DEPARTMENT JOBS

Name of Post	PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES
STENOGRAPHER	i) Bachelors’ Degree (second division) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; ii) A speed of 70 words per minute of short hand in English and 40 words per minute of typing in English on computer. iii) Three months certificate in MS Office from a recognized institute. Note: Preference shall be given to those candidates who also know Urdu short hand and Urdu typewriting.

SPECIALIZED HEALTHCARE & MEDICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT JOBS

POST NAME: ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OPERATIVE DENTISTRY

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES

i. a) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission with post graduate qualifications MDS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission: AND b) 05 years teaching experience in the relevant subject in a recognized institution as Prof. or an equivalent position, recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission provided that at least 3 research papers published in a standard dental/ medical journal while working as Asstt. Professor.

Teaching experience will be preferred and credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal.

ii. If no such candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available; then;

1. BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission with post graduate minor Diploma qualifications in the relevant subject as recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission; and
2. 03 years teaching experience in the relevant subject as Demonstrator in a recognized Institution after post graduate Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal.
3. 07 years teaching experience as Professor in the respective subject; provided that at least 5 research papers published in a standard dental/medical journal while working as Asstt. Professor.

NOTE:-

Applicants are directed to provide hard copy of their on-line application form alongwith two photocopy sets of all relevant documents & relevant Research Papers within 03 days after the closing date failing which their applications will be treated as rejected and no further communication will be entertained in this regard.
Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) Registration should be valid upto the closing date of the advertised post(s). If expired, applying proof for renewal of registration on or before the closing date is required.
RESEARCH PAPERS: Only those relevant original articles which have been published in book-form on or before the closing date shall be Review articles, case-studies/reports, translations, briefs, papers presented in conferences, editorials, etc. shall not be admissible as published research papers. However, online published research work in a recognized foreign journal shall be accepted.

FOR GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES:

Experience Certificate alongwith appointment letter(s) in respect of Contract, Current Charge, Acting Charge and appointment on Adhoc basis, issued by the Appointing Authority/ Head of Institution/Organization/Department is required.

FOR PRIVATE/FOREIGN SECTOR CANDIDATES:

Experience Certificates shall be acceptable only upon certification of experience issued by the Principal/Dean for cases in Pakistan or an authority competent to do so for overseas An experience certificate by the Medical Superintendent or incharge of an attached teaching hospital shall not be accepted unless countersigned by the Principal.
Teaching experience in a foreign country shall only be considered upon provision of a teaching experience certificate provided by the regulatory body concerned or by the dean of the Undergraduate or Postgraduate medical or Dental institution in which the applicant was teaching students.
The experience gained in private medical institutions of Pakistan shall be acceptable if the Pakistan Medical Commission or any other Regulatory body recognizes that institution and if the Vice Chancellor/Rector/Principal/Dean/Head of Institute of the medical school/college/hospital certifies the experience that there is teaching/practical activity by the However any change of designation/discipline in the experience certificate that had already been issued /approved by the issuing/competent authority shall be clarified / justified by the issuing/competent authority. In case issuing/competent authority fails to justify the amended certificate of experience, then such experience certificate shall not be acceptable.
The experience gained in a teaching institution in foreign countries shall be acceptable if the Pakistan Medical Commission and Regulatory body of that country recognizes the institution as teaching institute and if the Vice Chancellor/Rector/Principal/Dean/Head of Institute of the medical school/college certifies the experience that there is teaching activity by the

LABOUR & HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT (Punjab Workers Welfare Fund) Jobs

HOUSING URBAN DEVELOPMENT & PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT JOBS

PRIMARY & SECONDARY HEALTHCARE DEPARTMENT JOBS

WOMEN MEDICAL OFFICERS

1) MBBS Qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council/ Pakistan Medical Commission.
2) Registered with Pakistan Medical and Dental Council/ Pakistan Medical Commission.
3) Has one year experience of regular House job.
IMPORTANT NOTE :
The candidates who had applied to PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission for full Registration of their MBBS degrees registration on or before the closing date but;
i) PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission Registration Certificates were issued after the closing date; OR
ii) PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission Registration Certificates have not been issued so far;
Will be held eligible subject to the condition that such candidates shall have to produce documentary evidence properly stamped and signed by the Competent Authority that they have applied for such registration on or before the closing date.
iii) The candidates who had valid PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission Registration on or before closing date but their registration has expired on or before the date of interview and they had applied to PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission for renewal of their expired registration after the closing date shall also be held eligible. However, if a candidate had expired PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission registration on or before the closing date and he had applied to PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission for renewal of his expired PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission registration after the closing date shall not be held eligible.
iv) Provisional PMDC/ Pakistan Medical Commission registration certificate for house job only shall not be acceptable for eligibility.
